Mission
The BMCC Archives collects, maintains and preserves records that chronicle the history and development of the Borough of Manhattan Community College. A variety of material is contained in the archives, including reports, minutes of meetings, departmental correspondence, yearbooks, commencement programs, course bulletins, handbooks, publications, photographs, press releases and flyers.
The BMCC Archives has a goal of acquiring material of long-term historical, administrative and evidential value to the institution and to preserve these to make the archives a valuable resource for the college. Supporting the college’s curriculum and research interests of students and faculty are encompassed in this mission.
