Join us for a robot design workshop!

First, learn how robots shape our society and explore some of the ethical issues surrounding them. Then, jump right into the design phase to create a “sticky bot,” a prototype robot made from sticky notes. Your robot could help with elder care, the environment, medical care, or search and rescue missions! In the last part of the workshop, each working group will share their robots and ideas with the group.

This event has been used at high schools around New York City to give students a simple, hands-on experience with technology design. We recommend it for anyone thinking about majoring in computer science, engineering, or product design.
