The Murphy Institute’s LEAP to Teacher program is a collaborative program between the CUNY School of Labor Studies (SLU) and Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). LTT provides paraprofessionals working for the New York City Department of Education (DOE) with a set of free, ongoing support services to assist you in pursuing your education and advancing your career in any field of study, including education.
The LEAP to Teacher program at BMCC serves as a central resource for paraprofessionals who have admissions questions or concerns about any aspects of their learning journey at BMCC. Our LEAP to Teacher coordinator helps students to embark upon and complete their degrees in a timely fashion and without undue stress.
