Rebecca Nissan is a Senior Associate at ideas42, where she uses behavioral science to solve challenges in education, safety and justice, domestic health, and economic justice. During her first three years at ideas42, she created campaigns and resources that help community college students in New York City persist to graduation. She also helped redesign New York City’s pretrial release assessment – a tool that helps judges make decisions at arraignments. Currently, her projects focus on increasing vaccine uptake across the U.S. and reducing racial and other disparities in child welfare systems.
Scott Lensing is a Senior Associate at ideas42. Since joining ideas42 in 2018, he has worked across focus areas, including: economic justice, post-secondary education, financial health, and safety & justice. Most recently in education, he has created behaviorally-designed communications to boost CUNY student academic success and persistence through graduation, and is currently working on a project to scale evidence-based communications campaigns to more schools across the country. Before joining ideas42, Scott worked in strategy and operations for a workforce development social enterprise assisting people with high barriers to employment.
