De-Stress with Panther Partners: Wednesday Tips

The Panther Partners program is offering a week of virtual de-stress events that we can all do from home.

1. Do the Bee Breathing

Sit comfortably in a chair, keeping your spine fairly straight. Relax your facial muscles, keep your mouth closed. Breathe in slowly yet deeply, filling your lungs with air. Breath out slowly making a humming sound like mmmmmm (this sound can be as loud or as mild as you feel comfortable with). As you do this, feel the vibration the sound produces in and around your head.

2. Stretch

Release tension and gain flexibility! Stretching also gets your blood circulation going and does wonders to the lymph nodes, which are responsible for your immune system health.

3. De-Stress Zoom Call

Check your email for more information. We hope to see you there to relax together!

4. Learn a New Recipe

Tip: Try searching on Google for easy recipes that you can do with what you have at home.

Panther Partners is a cohort experience program serving first-generation students at BMCC. The program provides support through mentorship/partnership, workshops, activities, special events, and community.
