Join us for a discussion on the Lost History of the American Negro via Zoom. This discussion will be led by Ira Zebulon Israel.
We’ve often heard of the statement, “If you don’t know who you are, you don’t know where you’re going.” This is a key foundational point of the workshop so that minority youths and students can learn of their history, culture, and rich heritage prior to the periods of enslavement and colonization of the western hemisphere.
We believe that the knowledge of one’s ancestors is vital to the growth and path of an individual and their community. Focusing on the lost history and untold stories of African Americans, Hispanics, and Indigenous Natives will promote a healthy, positive, and nurturing foundation to a student’s life while they seek to define their future and change the world during their academic career. We will be using the Holy Bible with other historical books and references to show their heritage which has been lost through time.
