Polling in the Classroom

May 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
| CETLS, Room S510D

Polling in the classroom can be used to engage students, to stimulate discussion, and to foster understanding of difficult concepts in any discipline. Find out how your BMCC colleagues are using tools such as clickers, Kahoot, and paper-based voting cards to incorporate polling in their classes. The discussion will focus on topics such as:

  • Why do polling?
  • Developing effective polling questions
  • Structuring class time to include polling
  • Selecting a polling tool
