On this day, the state of New York encourages us to “move from being bystanders to upstanders against domestic violence.”  The initiative asks that we wear something purple in solidarity with the Shine the Light on Domestic Violence movement.

Don’t forget to send your photos wearing purple to opdvpurple@opdv.ny.gov and post them to social media with the hashtag #shinethelight.
