Classroom Management: Active Learning Strategies (New Faculty Orientation Series)

Facilitated by Cheryl Comeau-Kirschner (Academic Literacy and Linguistics) and Gina Cherry (CETLS Director)

This workshop will focus on ways in which faculty can create an active learning environment in their classroom. We’ll focus on three areas: discussion moves to bolster student engagement and critical thinking ability; collaborative learning strategies to address different learning styles; and creative technology use to encourage real time participation and group interaction.
