During the 2014-2015 academic year, a group of BMCC faculty joined in an initiative to improve passing rates for students enrolled in “gateway” courses. These are courses that are prerequisites for many other courses and which tend to have very high rates of Ds, Fs, and Withdrawals. Come hear what they learned from the interventions they created. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
