Here are some of the Career Development programs you can take advantage of at BMCC. Specifics will be announced on the central BMCC web calendar.
Goldman Sachs Local College Collaborative Program
This program is a six-month exercise where teams from select colleges are assigned a business case challenge and the team’s decisions impact a hypothetical corporation. Students on each team assumed a corporate role such as chief executive officer, chief financial officer or marketing and branding. Team members had to devise damage control tactics and come up with a plan that would still build excitement and buzz around the company and its new product.
Microsoft 30-day Cloud Challenge
This program gives students the opportunity to earn a free certificate by learning about the cloud platform in 30 days.
Streetwise Partners
Students are paired with business professionals as well as providing skill development resources, and access to networks that to secure and maintain employment. Participants will have access to their job placement services once they complete the program.
This program is available during the Fall and Spring semesters.
