Understanding Financial Aid: A Panther’s Guide to Financial Success

Paying for college can be a challenge at the best of times, and especially now. Through a collaboration with BMCC’s Financial Aid services and the ASAP Success Program, we will show you how to find free money and make it work for you and your future! In this workshop you will discover scholarship opportunities, financial literacy tips, and learn to navigate the FAFSA and TAP financial aid applications. With the addition of ASAP, you will learn about the great benefits of being part of ASAP, including learning how to acquire the highly desired monthly MetroCard, for free.

To join the online workshop:

1. RSVP online. (You may be prompted to log in. Please use your email address in the “Forgot Password” link to create/reset login information.)
2. Download the Zoom App to your phone or computer.
3. Click the link in your confirmation email to join!

***Please note that this workshop is best suited for newly admitted BMCC Panthers and students who are still exploring college options. Topics presented will be general in nature, and workshop presenters will not be able to address questions about individual student accounts.
