January 12, 2022 at 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
| Zoom

The BMCC Office of Internships and Experiential Learning and Equitunity, invites students to  an information session with Equitunity (a public charity for NYC) to hear about the Entrepreneurial Economics Workshop Series offered in Spring ’22.

These workshops offer BMCC students a hands-on opportunity to enhance their academic experience while designing a community social enterprise business that they will pitch at the end of the workshop series for a chance to win seed-grant funding to start the business. Some of the questions addressed include:

  • What is entrepreneurship in New York City?
  • What is entrepreneurial economics?
  • Why should students participate in the Entrepreneurial Economics Workshop Series?
  • What is community cooperative entrepreneurship?
  • What is community cooperative economics?
  • What do these concepts have to do with poverty?

Make time in your schedules to attend and increase your knowledge and awareness of issues affecting you and your community.

Join us via Zoom every Wednesday at 3 pm, starting January 12 through February 16.
