Women’s Resource Center Girls Talk: Body Image

In this session we will be having conversations about body image and different forms of body positive and body neutral messages that are seen in the media. We will be taking an academic and personal look at how industries such as the cosmetic and social media industry may affect our perception of aesthetics.

Girls Talk is a weekly discussion group designed to support women-identified students, to foster connection, and create a brave space. The group discusses important, fun and open free-flowing topics about their experiences, life, academics, family, and more! Discussions are facilitated by a WRC staff member with guest speakers, collaborators and guests.

Attend 2 or more WHM events for Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) credit.
