No one would ever accuse Paul the Apostle’s follower, Thecla, of non-violence. However, in 2013, when twelve of her nuns were abducted by Syrian rebels from the monastery at Maaloula, these women and their community remained paradigms of non-violence. This workshop explores this event and its implications.
