This workshop will explore the stressful issues of racism and discrimination so commonly experienced by BMCC students. We will use a discussion, sharing and then lecture format in order build a supportive campus community and to help students identify strategies they can use to overcome the emotional effects of racism and discrimination that are so prominent in our society at this time in history. Students are encouraged to come to receive support and share their own experiences in a safe space.
Lunch will be served.
