Acting Vice President for Enrollment Management
Sanjay Ramdath joined BMCC in 2020 as the Director of Enrollment Management. As Acting VP of Enrollment Management, he will oversee and provide strategic direction and support to the Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Scholarship and International Student Recruitment offices. He will work closely with the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Vice President of Student Affairs to develop and implement programs and services that improve student retention and success. Working closely with the Office of Public Affairs, Ramdath will also develop innovative and effective communication and marketing strategies to attract students to the College.
Prior to joining BMCC, Ramdath served as Executive Director of Enrollment Management at Essex County College in New Jersey. He also worked as the Registrar/Enrollment Director at Bronx Community College/CUNY and as Registrar/Director of Enrollment at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC. Ramdath’s other experience includes serving as Registrar at the Digital Media Arts College in Boca Raton, FL; Registrar/Interim Associate Dean at the Miami International University of Art and Design in Miami; and as a Graduate Admissions Counselor at the Barry University-Graduate Medical Studies in Miami Shores, FL. Ramdath also has prior teaching experience serving as a faculty member in the areas of marketing and finance, organizational behavior, information technology and mathematics.
Ramdath earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology from Barry University and a Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Community College Leadership from the New Jersey City University.
