Study Abroad
BMCC offers 3-credit summer study abroad courses in countries around the world. Students who are selected to participate will travel with a BMCC professor and a small group of students for 2 – 4 weeks. Courses are open to all majors and may be taught in English or the local language. Eligible students receive the BMCC Association Scholarship to help fund this opportunity. Internships and Volunteer
In addition to studying abroad, students can gain international experience through internship and volunteer opportunities, many of which are based in New York City. Opportunities span across the private, public and non-profit sectors. Potential work areas include: Advocacy; Banking and Finance; Education; Fundraising; Governmental Affairs; Health; Immigration; Informational Technology; Marketing; Public Policy; and Sustainability and Climate Change.
