The BMCC UMLA Each One Reach One (EORO) Peer Mentoring Program is the only student retention program in CUNY that was started by BMCC student leaders. EORO provides peer mentors to help you reach your academic and personal goals.
Each One Reach One peer mentors can assist you with the following and more:
- Building meaningful connections and resources at the college
- Improving your study skills, note-taking, and critical thinking
- Test and paper preparation
- Enhancing your time management, organizational skills, and setting priorities
- Establishing and/or achieving short term and long-term goals
- Adapting to the BMCC environment and “navigating the maze” of college
- Networking
- Formulating a plan to raise your GPA
- Connecting you to various support services in the college (counseling, tutoring, etc.)
- Learning about scholarships, jobs, and other opportunities you may not be aware of
