Information Sessions are the best way to get an all-in-one overview of Borough of Manhattan Community College. In all of these sessions, you will:

• Discover 50+ academic programs (majors) that help make BMCC a nationally-ranked school
• Meet our diverse community of students, staff, and faculty
• Learn how to pay for school with financial aid, scholarships, Federal Work Study jobs, and more
• Review the BMCC admissions process step-by-step
• Take a virtual tour of our NYC campus located in Tribeca, the heart of lower Manhattan
• Ask us all your questions about college!

Understanding Financial Aid: A Panther’s Guide to Financial Success

Two or more dates offered per month: Wednesdays at 4 p.m.

Paying for college can be a challenge at the best of times, and especially now. Through a collaboration with BMCC’s Financial Aid services and ASAP Success Program, we’ll show you how to make money work for you and your future! In this workshop you will discover scholarship opportunities, how to qualify for ASAP financial benefits, build financial savvy, and learn how to navigate the FAFSA and TAP applications.

Admissions Information Session

Tuesdays | 5-6  p.m.
Thursdays | 6-7 p.m.

This is your first stop to find out what BMCC can offer you:  high-value education, expert professors, and a close-knit student community (even virtually!).

International Admissions Information Session

Thursdays  |  10 a.m. ET

Learn more about the U.S. higher education system and how to apply to BMCC as an international applicant. These sessions are intended for students who will complete the F-1 immigration process to legally reside in the U.S. during their studies.

BMCC Application Workshop

Tuesdays  | 3 p.m.

Feeling stuck? Let us walk you through the whole application process! We will show you how to complete the CUNY application online and offer tips for sending school transcripts to complete your app. You will also have the option to engage in a Virtual Tour.

Applying as an international student? On the third Tuesday of each month, our workshop will focus on the special application steps for international students.

Chat with an Admissions Representative & Vaccination Verification Upload Support

Thursdays | 3 p.m.

In this event, the mic is open for you to ask any questions you like! Talk with our admissions representatives about their experiences as real BMCC students. Check on the status of your application. Get assistance completing admissions steps, receive information about the required vaccination verification upload, and explore BMCC virtually, with the option of a Virtual Tour.
