Let Us Help You Explore, Dream and Discover
Over the past two decades, the Borough of Manhattan Community College’s Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development has had a strong tradition of offering extraordinary programs to New Yorkers.
Whether you want to expand your credentials, move into a new career field, or simply learn more about a topic that interests you, the Center offers what you are looking for. With over 300 Continuing Education courses offered in traditional classroom style format or as on-line offerings or corporate on-site training opportunities, with BMCC you can learn anytime, anywhere!
Our Programs Reflect the Strengths of NYC
Our Adult and Continuing Education programs reflect the diversity and strengths of New York City as well as the educational and career needs of the communities we serve. The great flexibility of our curriculum is that it enhances your opportunities to attain your educational and career goals, and more than 11,000 adult learners do so each year. We find that our students’ talents and interests flourish.
Our small classes allow for greater student participation and more personal attention from faculty. Additional educational needs are met by our tutoring and educational assistance programs.
We Keep Pace with Workforce Strengths
Our staff host a number of community focus groups in our ongoing attempts to find out what you want us to offer. We also host employer-oriented focus groups to keep pace with workforce trends and create job skills training programs, which will lead our students toward exciting new careers.
Continuing Education is for everyone. Our courses help participants learn a new skill, to build knowledge, to explore new technologies, to engage in personal development and above all, to have fun!
Let us help you to explore, to dream and to discover!
