Online Discussion: A Brief Survey of Behavioral Finance

July 15, 2020 at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
| Online

Why do we make so many money mistakes? The subscription we neglected to cancel, the stock we sold too late, the savings goal that got pushed back again…we’ve all been there. What does the science say we should do to make better decisions?

Please join us Wednesday, July 15 at 6 p.m. for a Brief Survey of Behavioral Finance with Brett Whysel. He will briefly outline the basics of:

  1. Behavioral economics
  2. Spending behaviors
  3. Risk perceptions
  4. Investing behaviors
  5. Efficient vs. Adaptive Markets Hypotheses

We welcome participants from BMCC and NYC Bogleheads® joining us for this event.

RSVP to reserve a spot for this event.

Note: If the event fills up, please join the waitlist and indicate your affiliation to BMCC–this will give you priority as space opens up.
