Students enrolled in Accounting Principles I (ACC 122) are invited to a workshop designed to help students in accounting. Understanding the accounting cycle and mastery of the art of preparing journal entries are essential for success in the course. Accounting, like mathematics, is difficult to grasp without a solid foundation of the basic principles.
This workshop will give students a chance to get a head start and to develop a solid foundation for achieving success in ACC 122. The topics covered in the workshop, include:
Professor Joel Barker will teach the workshops. Students who have taken this class before and want or need a “refresher” are also invited.
The workshop consists of five consecutive sessions. Students are encouraged to attend all five sessions. Attending only one session is of minimal value. You will have an opportunity to ask additional questions after the lecture.
To facilitate most students, there will be two cohorts of workshops available during the Spring 2022 semester. You should choose the one that best suits your availability.
