BMCC Admissions‘ “Spotlight” virtual event series gives you an in-depth look at some of the majors at BMCC. Each week, faculty guest presenters put their subject front-and-center and explain the classes you will take and skills you will earn. Join us on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. to connect you with your future teachers and ask questions.
On May 12, learn more about Modern Languages majors (French, Italian, and Spanish) at BMCC and what kinds of careers they can lead to.
The Modern Languages Department also offers courses in Chinese, Arabic and Sign Language which can be used as electives.
Whatever your major, having foreign language skills is an advantage when you are seeking a job.
