Faculty panelists from the Department of Ethnic and Race Studies discuss with students the influence and role of black celebrities in U.S. politics. Ethnics Studies is deeply intertwined with multiple political movements including the voting rights movement. As a part of the event, we will cover the history and ongoing legacy of this work.
