Join us on September 30 at 3 p.m. as BMCC Alumni Relations speaks with nursing alumnus Marcia Hodge ’97.
Marcia Hodge graduated from BMCC in 1997 with an A.A.S in Nursing, then received my B.S.N at Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus. While working as a nurse in the Open-Heart Step-down Unit at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, she attained a Master’s Degree as a Critical Care Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist from Yale University. Her nursing experience has been as a Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Cardiothoracic ICU nurse. She moved on to become an Assistant Nurse Manager, and later transitioned to Oncology as a Nurse Manager. Hodges is currently a Director for Nursing Excellence & Quality, and enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Executive Track Program at Johns Hopkins University.
