Join us on October 21 at 3 p.m. as BMCC Alumni Relations speaks with alumna, Katerina Robinson, Esq. ’11 about her “Start Here. Go Anywhere.” journey from GED to Esq.
Katerina Robinson immigrated from the USSR to New York City in 1995. After earning a GED, Robinson applied to BMCC
and attended classes while working full time as a legal assistant. During her time at BMCC, Robinson gave birth to a baby girl, became a single mother, and continued on her journey to success. She earned a degree in Liberal Arts in 2011a and walked across the stage with her young daughter by her side on graduation day.
After BMCC she went on the Brooklyn College and earned a degree in psychology and neuroscience. She enrolled in Hofstra Law school, graduating in 2016. Since then, Katerina Robinson has worked for the NYC Attorney General’s office, has served as a prosecutor, and is currently a prosecuting attorney. She is the definition of “Start Here. Go Anywhere.”
