The exciting event is hosted by BMCC’s Business Management Department and is designed to showcase its extensive alumni network, build new relationships with industry professionals, and most importantly, invite business leaders to BMCC to engage with students, faculty and staff.

Agenda:

Welcome by Dr Palit. Business Chairperson: 2:00-2:05  p.m.

Business Career/Alumni Panel: 2:05-2:35 p.m.

Business Majors Orientations and BreakoutsQuestion and Answer sessions about your major: 2:35-3:05 p.m.

Business Career/Alumni Panel II– Discovering success for you: 3:05-3:35 p.m.

Business Connections– Connect with the speakers in small group breakouts: 3:35-3:45 p.m.

Panelists:

  • Edison Bardowell graduated from BMCC, Medgar Ever College, and Baruch College. He is a Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Legacy Corporation, Board Member of Equality Charter School, and works at America SCORES New York.
  • Yousaf Khan graduated from BMCC and Baruch College this year. He is working now as an Assistant Manager at Nisar Pharmacy Inc.
  • Alicia Tulsee graduated with honors from BMCC/CUNY and Harvard University. Currently, she is the Founder & CEO of Moxie Apparel Inc.
  • William Franklin graduated from BMCC and Brooklyn College. He works as a Branch Ambassador at Capital One Bank.

Guest Moderator:

  • Josefina Rodriguez graduate from NYU and Cornell University. Currently, she is working as a Director of Marketing Strategy and Operations at Ellucian, a contributing writer at ADCOLOR, and is the Founder & CEO of Latinos/Forward.

Guest panelists will participate in a discussion focusing on business leadership and their career paths. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions following the panel discussion.
