Completed the Microsoft 30-day Cloud Challenge and ready to take the Certification Exams?
Students can schedule the virtual certification exams from June 11 to the end of June.
Students must register on Centiport, to take the Microsoft Certification Exam. Please read the instructions on how to take a virtual exam and how to prepare your computer.
Fill out the form to request an exam date and time. Students will get a confirmation of their request with a unique link to their exam as it is a first come, first served basis. If the time and date requested is not available, someone will contact you to reschedule.

I completed the challenge; do I have to take the certification exam?
If you want to have an official Microsoft Certificate, it is highly recommended that you take the Certification Exam, since employers will need to verify that you have completed the program and passed the certification.
Is the certification exam free to take?
Yes, it is no cost through the Center for Career Development.
How many certificate exams can I take?
If you have completed all five of the challenges, you can take all five of the certification exams.
Do I need to show up in-person to take the exam?
No, but you must need a working computer with a mouse, keyboard, and a stable internet connection. You must read the instructions on how to access Centiport before taking the exam.
How long is the Certification Exam?
60 minutes
How many questions are there?
Depending on the certificate, the minimum is 32 questions.
What is a passing score to get the Microsoft Certificate?
Minimum score required to pass the exam is 700.
I passed, where is my certificate?
You will be able to find your certificate on your Centiport profile after 24-48 hours of completing the exam.
Will I get digital certificate or be physically mailed one?
Students can print the certificate or “order official certificate” from Certiport (pearsonvue.com) > My Transcript. Students are not required to order a certificate. Employers will verify the certification with the code on the certificate.
I didn’t pass the exam; can I take it again?
You can only retake the exam once, and you will have you will have to reschedule another exam within June.
I just found about this Microsoft Challenge now, will there be more in the future?
Yes, however, the certification topics may be different from the ones offered now.
