Coronavirus Information Session

Are you concerned about the novel coronavirus? The BMCC Allied Health, Nursing, and Health Education Departments are teaming up with The Center for Ethnic Studies, Linguistics, the Science Department and Student Affairs to address your concerns about the virus.

We will discuss how NYC, CUNY, and BMCC are dealing with the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. Speakers will share what you need to know. We will also explore this issue from the unique perspectives of the presenting scholars.

  • Everett Flannery, Professor in Allied Health Department, Chairperson

  • José A. Fernandez Romero, Assistant Professor in Science
  • Michael Spath, Environmental, Health, Safety Officer and Campus Risk Manager, and Instructor in Science
  • Linta Varghese, Assistant Professor in Ethnic Studies
  • Meghan Williams, Paramedic Program Director
  • Erwin Wong, Acting Senior VP and Provost

This event will be facilitated by Maureen Matarese, Associate Professor in Academic Literacy and Linguistics and Chair of Student Affairs Subcommittee of Academic Senate.
