It is a time of fast moving economic developments associated with significant monetary policy and fiscal policy interventions with profound implications for social welfare. As such, our academic discussions about the direction of the US and worldwide economy have gained extra significance and importance for understanding our world.
This Wednesday we will have an online discussion through a Zoom Conference Call for Wednesday, March 18, 2-4 p.m. for our Banking & Finance Club. To join the discussion please click the link at the invitation that follows.
Professor Schroeder will lead the discussion and will discuss the effect of the Coronavirus on the economy and monetary policy: what is happening at banks and the Federal Reserve response. We will then review some of the material we discussed last week.
