Transitional Language helps you move from one idea to the next in your writing. Signal verbs and phrases helps the reader understand how someone is saying something, not just what they are saying. For instance, is someone saying something in agreement or disagreement with something else that was said.
This workshop is designed to give you a better understanding of how to structure your essay as well as build a strong essay by crafting effective paragraphs, strong topic sentences and logical support for your thesis.
The Learning Resource Center’s Grammar and Writing Workshops are designed to reinforce your understanding of best practices for good writing while emphasizing the necessary study skills for academic success.
