“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”-Maya Angelou
Do you have stories that you want to share with your peers in the BMCC community?
Life experiences that have taught you important lessons?
Join us for Storytelling Hour on Tuesdays at 3 p.m.
RSVP to get the Zoom link for this session.
The BMCC Office of Student Success invites you to a weekly hour-long student-led discussion; each week we will focus on a different topic. All BMCC students are welcome.
February 23: Social Justice Week: Power, Oppression, and Privilege

March 9: Leadership Experiences
March 16: Social Media
March 23: The World of Work
April 6: Civic Engagement
April 13: Challenges, Setbacks, Failures and What We Learned
April 20: Social Pressure
April 27: Identity
May 4: Community
As a community, we can come together to share and celebrate each of our unique experiences. You can choose to share or just to sit in and listen to and learn from your peers.
Storytelling hours will each have a topic to be decided in advance so that our storytellers can be ready with an experience in mind. You will not need to write anything to prepare–just come with a story in mind.
Failures are just as welcome as triumphs: “Mistakes are the portals of discovery.”-James Joyce
