The BMCC Career Development Office staff assists students in making informed decisions about an area of study, research occupations that match their personal interests and how to write a resume.
We lead students in interview practice, and help them prepare as candidates for internships and employment.
They learn to clarify their career goals, build effective communication and interpersonal skills, conduct job searches and develop an electronic portfolio for employers, showcasing their accomplishments, skills and professional qualifications.
We also provide students with the option of using our premier multi-media services, putting web resources right at their fingertips to increase their interaction with the Career Center and potential employers.
