Microsoft Excel Workshop: Advanced Topics Plus Special Guest

April 2, 2016 at 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
| Fiterman Hall, Room F412

Level 4 – Advanced Topics Using Excel Workbook

The Accounting Department’s Microsoft Excel workshop is designed to provide students with an exposure to a variety of accounting based Excel applications. Students will learn to organize and sort various financial data and information. They will also learn to create accounting spreadsheets and perform advanced data analysis using functions, formulas, and charts.

Special Guest: On Saturday, April 2, the Excel workshop will be hosting Ms. Sonia Chonkria Vice President, Branch Manager, Wall Street office from Robert Half, an Accounting and Finance Staffing and Recruitment company.

Sonia and her colleagues have already placed multiple BMCC students in accounting and finance positions, and we look forward to hear her presentation on how our students should prepare themselves for the job market.  We hosted Sonia last semester as well, and it proved to be an extremely informative and well-attended session.  It is a great way to network, the invitation for all Accounting and Business Majors.
