Mindfulness and other contemplative practices encourage both introspection and deep noticing in our interactive spaces: the art of being present. In this third workshop we will move more deeply into understanding how the practice of mindfulness can help to create a culture of care for both students and faculty at BMCC.
We will continue to explore how we achieve non-judgmental self-awareness and situational awareness (the act of “just noticing”) and how we can enfold these transformational processes into the greater institutional culture of our college community.
