Join BMCC’S Nursing Program graduates as they graduate and receive their pins.
The Pinning Ceremony
A pinning ceremony is a symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. The new nurses are presented with nursing pins by the faculty of the nursing school but more often a loved one chosen by the graduate. Often the nurses recite the Nightingale Pledge.
About the Nursing Program
BMCC’s Nursing Program admits an average of 81 students each semester and offers both day and evening/weekend classes. BMCC promotes high standards of educational excellence, by offering our students support services and faculty mentoring, as they progress in our comprehensive and rigorous program. Graduates are highly skilled and are often hired by many facilities in the Greater New York City area.
