Panelists
Description
“Publish or Perish,” a phrase etched in academia, has evolved to “Peer-Reviewed Publishing.” At this panel discussion, faculty from various disciplines will share their wisdom about publishing – and publishing well – in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Key discussion topics include aspects of academic publishing, such as peer-reviewed publication selection, characteristics of core publications, manuscript preparation and submission considerations, revision process and tips, co-authorship, and different types of publications in conference proceedings or from grants. Anyone interested in acquiring effective strategies for successfully publishing in more and high-quality peer-reviewed publications will benefit greatly from this panel session.
Part of Faculty Scholarship Month, a celebration of BMCC faculty scholarship and creative work.
