Part of building a career is networking and making contacts. The opportunity to do this often arises at work-related gatherings, where expectations may be different than at a party with friends and family.
Come to this interactive workshop for tips on how to put your best foot forward and improve your interpersonal and communication skills in a work-related social setting.
Through group feedback, discussion and role-playing, you’ll have a chance to practice new strategies for interacting with confidence and ease.
The workshop will be led by Consuela D. Hooblal, Regional Sales Manager at USA TODAY.
Ms. Hooblal has been with USA TODAY for 22 years. In addition to managing hospitality and healthcare accounts, she works with colleges to promote news and media literacy through USA TODAY’s College Readership Program, bringing USA TODAY’s national perspective and balanced news reporting to students.
