SHIRLEY FITERMAN ART CENTER AT BMCC
PRESENTS CITY LIVES ART EXHIBIT,
NOVEMBER 24, 2015 – JANUARY 16, 2016.
The exhibit City Lives is now on display at the Shirley Fiterman Art Center, located on the first floor of BMCC’s Fiterman Hall, 81 Barclay Street, New York, NY 10007.
The exhibit explores the impact of living in an urban environment. It showcases traditional painting and sculpture, as well as conceptually based works, photography, printmaking, film, video and ceramics.
The featured artists are Alice Aycock, Michael Ashkin, Richard Bosman, Richmond Burton, Dietmar Busse, Lawrence Carroll, Sally Davies, Jane Dickson, Maureen Dougherty, Kate Ericson / Mel Ziegler, Spencer Finch, Kathy Forer, James Greco, Philippe Gronon, Cary Leibowitz, Robert Lobe, Kathryn Lynch, Rita McBride, Robert Moskowitz, James Nares, Lothar Osterburg, Michael Spano, Priscilla Stadler and Roger Welch.
Art will be available for sale at the event, with proceeds benefiting the BMCC Foundation Scholarship Fund.
