Spring 2016 De-Stress Fest runs from May 4 through May 13. BMCC will be offering a variety of activities to help you de-stress as finals approach.
The events will be at 199 Chambers Street.
- Biofeedback: Learn how easy it is to change your emotional state from tense/ anxious/afraid to calm/focused/confident using HeartMath Breathing Techniques.
(12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m and 1:00 p.m – 3:00 p.m, outside of Room S340)
- Pet Therapy: Did you know petting an animal has been linked to stress reduction? Come take a break with some furry friends at our puppy petting station!
(12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., Room S341)
- Game Night: Take a break from studying and join your fellow students in playing some old-school games and activities such as jewelry making, video games, and more.
(5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Richard Harris Terrace)
- Library Relaxation Station: Stop by for activities to take you mind off of studying for a short while such as coloring, puzzles, games and more.
(Available whenever the library is open)
- Classic Cartoons Study Break: Relax watching Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes gang and popcorn.
(12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the library classroom, Room S410M)
