Survival Tips from Recent Hires (New Faculty Orientation Series)

What do you wish you had known when you first came to BMCC? What do you wish you could ask someone but were too embarrassed?

Bring those questions to this panel discussion and hear from faculty who have successfully navigated their first few terms at the college. Guests include Judith Anderson (Social Sciences, Ethnic Studies), David Bahr (English), Jamal Sullivan (Media Arts and Technology) and Edna Asknes (Nursing).

We will also hear about the BMCC Teaching Academy, a program for new faculty, from program coordinator and BMCC Distinguished Teaching Award Winner, John Beaumont (Academic Literacy and Linguistics).
