“For many decades Afro-Latinx have faced the challenge of solidifying a visible representation in American theatre thatacknowledges their stories and their work. The work of Afro-Latinx that has been erased from public representations in mainstream theatre across the US but the best way to fight the erasure of the Afro-Latinx experience on stage is by highlighting and celebrating their work, and the undeniable impact Afro- Latinx have made in theatre for the past decades. “
