A few facts about this activation:
The Re-Actor machine was conceived and designed for us on a pro- bono basis by our creative agency in the late winter months – with the festival only paying for some of the hard costs of assembly. This offered to us as it is our 15th year – the Festival wants to ensure that it is spreading awareness about the Film Festival to a wide audience – hence the variety of locations. This broad outreach will also be evident in our out of home marketing campaigns that are being featured in subways and buses. The Re-Actor is an important tool in this marketing campaign and is tied to our social media efforts in promoting the upcoming Festival and our ticket pre-sale which launches Tuesday.
What does the ReActor do?
The Tribeca ReActor is an arcade style machine that features iconic film clips and allows the users to reenact movie scenes. It’s computer judges the acting and issues Festival Tickets to the winners.
