Organized for the first time at BMCC, this event aims to bring awareness about the violence Transgender people face in our society and to celebrate and remember those who are not among us anymore.
This is a CCT-approved event.
There will be two parts to this event.
4-6 p.m.: Student Cafeteria – Memorial Gallery and Vigil in the Student Cafeteria – Victims of transgender based violence will be remembered and celebrated.
6-7 p.m.: Room S-341 -Open Mic moderated by BMCC professor Elizabeth Whitney with an opening talk by BMCC professor C. Ray Borck. Students are invited to share their work. No RSVP required.
