The Department of Social Sciences, Human Services, and Criminal Justice, invites the BMCC community to a talk to introduce the United Nations International Children’s Education Fund’s (UNICEF) new crowdsourced platform, the Global Digital Commons (GDC) that is very actively youth engaged. The GDC is an open-access digital platform to crowdsource real-time evidence and innovations to support child-focused Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The inspiration behind the platform is to create a space for cross-sectorial discussion, learning, problem-solving and most importantly, to democratize knowledge that benefits children and young people. UNICEF proudly looks at the GDC as a technological contribution towards support of child-focused SDGS as we enter the Decade of Action.
