Using Technology to Enhance Your Teaching

Find out about the range of technologies available at BMCC and learn how BMCC faculty are using technology to engage students. Gina Cherry (CETLS), Donna Dickinson (eLearning), and Ruru Rusmin (eLearning) will give an overview of available technologies and share ideas about how you might incorporate them in your classes. Linta Varghese (Center for Ethnic Studies) will show how she has used polling software to “take the pulse” of the class, and Padlet to help students develop topics for their final projects. Victor Murillo (Modern Languages) will describe how he uses VoiceThread for multimedia discussions and the Remind app to keep students on track with assignments.
