Women’s Herstory Month: Resilience of Black Women

Shefau Dabre, a Core Practitioner in collaboration with the Copper Beech Institute exemplifies the importance of healing through the justice movement. She heals people collectively heal from the impact of systems of oppression to all live wildly liberated, connected, inspired, and healthy lives.

The workshop will teach attendees how to:

  • Identify the role of the strong Black woman as an outside role
  • Explore self and the mind
  • Utilize mindful breathing techniques to meditate
  • Connect the body with gentle yoga and gross motor movement
  • Develop the foundation for a day-to-day personal wellness practice

Optional to have on hand:

  • Pen and paper
  • Mat and/or pillow
  • Bottle of water
