Women’s Herstory Month: Stage Struck: Women in Theatrical History

An exciting original performance featuring two contemporary actresses portraying important women from theatre history, followed by a Q&A. Sandhi Santini will be playing Eartha Kitt, actress, singer, and political activist.

Ginger Grace will be playing Mrs. Minnie Maddern Fiske, actress, impresario, political and social activist. Students will learn of the challenges these women faced and overcame as well as situating these women in a cultural, sociological, political history of the United States. Students will also be exposed to this form of original creative/historical research based writing.
