Women’s HerStory Month: The Narratives of Harassment in the #MeToo Era

In the current #MeToo era, women have increasingly come forwards with accounts of sexual harassment and violence against them. Some of these accounts have implicated prominent figures such as Hollywood superstars and politicians. In this presentation I will discuss the various narratives that have sprung up around these accounts. There are the narratives of the events themselves, the narratives – including literary narratives – created around them, and the narratives about the victims, created by others.
